Dr. Mohamed Badawi Farid is an Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, King Salman International University, recognized for his interdisciplinary expertise bridging mechanical engineering and advanced AI systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in machine learning and neural networks, along with M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University, where he graduated with honors. Prof. Kwok Chung is a Distinguished Silver-Age Professor at the Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, specializing in electrical engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, and has held academic and research leadership positions at Huizhou University and Qingdao University of Technology, where he directed the Civionics Research Laboratory and supervised doctoral researchers. His extensive professional experience includes leading multidisciplinary projects on structural health monitoring and microwave antenna design. Prof. Chung’s research focuses on microwave antennas, metasurfaces, non-destructive evaluation, passive wireless sensors, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, with over 220 publications and an h-index of 36. He has served as Associate Editor of the Alexandria Engineering Journal (Elsevier) and as a reviewer for leading IEEE, Elsevier, and IOP journals. An IEEE Senior Member, he is the founding Chair of the IEEE Qingdao AP/MTT/COM Joint Chapter and a member of the International Steering Committee of the IEEE International Workshop on Electro-Magnetics (iWEM), where he also served as General Chair.
