Dr. Ehsan Akbari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Mazandaran University of Science and Technology, Babol, Iran, specializing in electrical power engineering. He earned his B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering from Mazandaran University, followed by an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in the same field from the Mazandaran University of Science and Technology and Isfahan University of Technology, respectively. With extensive academic and research experience, Dr. Akbari has authored 25 books, published over 395 journal and conference papers, and holds six patents that reflect his innovative work. His research focuses on power quality, flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS), multilevel power electronics converters, smart grids, microgrids, grid-connected converter control, and renewable energy integration. A recognized leader in his field, he has organized and served on program committees for numerous international conferences. Dr. Akbari’s outstanding achievements have earned him multiple provincial awards for scientific and technological advancement. In addition to his research contributions, he actively engages in professional societies, editorial responsibilities, and academic collaborations, contributing significantly to the advancement of modern power and energy systems.
